Arena announced the availability of Nova 30 series

MaxTronic International Co., Ltd., a global supplier specialized on comprehensive RAID storage solutions focusing on applications from Enterprise Data Management, Digital Content and Video Surveillance, today announced the availability of the Nova 30 / 36 / 34 series of high-performance, enterprise-class storage solutions. The products come with 8Gb FC / 6Gb SAS host interfaces, incorporates the Power PC 460SX processor, delivering a remarkable increase in performance and availability.

The Nova series implement the latest F/W to support Symmetric Active-Active Redundancy mechanism to ease management of the IT environment and improve efficiency. Help to simplify configuration on VMware clustered environments by eliminating the need to select a preferred path. There is no additional path management utility needed to manage multiple paths and load balance for operating systems already embedded MPIO.

Meanwhile, the newly released Nova 3x series also covered with the new 5-Years warranty policy for Nova Professional series. For any hardware problem within the first 3 years, MaxTronic will provide support, repair and replacement at free of charge. And continue to offer service with free labour for the 4th and 5th year, which customers only pay for cost for parts replacement.

Nova 30S/30R: 3U form factor, single or dual controller, four 8Gb/s FC-host ports per controller, 16 drive bays per RAID system, expansion up to 120 disk drives. Best fit for Digital Content application, Enterprise Virtualization.

Nova 36S/36R: 3U form factor, single or dual controller, two 6Gb/s SAS-host ports per controller, 16 drive bays per RAID system, expansion up to 120 disk drives. Feasible for SMB data management, near-line digital content backup, enterprise primary or 2^nd storage.
Nova 37S: 3U form factor, single controller, two 6Gb/s SAS-host ports, 16 drive bays per RAID system, expansion up to 120 disk drives. Targeting for easy DAS configuration, management and deployment. Best fit for SMB data backup, cost sensitive video surveillance applications.

Nova 34S/34R: 3U form factor, single or dual controller, JBOD enclosure for expansion capacity for Nova RAID systems.
